Really Confused!! Help Me!!?

One day my mum was in my room and she told me that if i like someone or someone likes me I should tell her, I don't like anybody and as far as I am aware nobody likes me. Today I am going to the track to jog with my friend she is a little older than me and my mum asked me why I didnt leave the house yet so I told her I'm leaving in half an hour then she tells me no boys she said because she thinks my friend dates but she doesnt (I didn't tell her that) I'm confused! So does she want me to like somebody or does she want to send me to a nunnery??
