Well it seems very simple. Maybe it's a trick question, but it seems simple enough.
Add up all the attempts and passes and you get 59 attempts and 37 completions. That means he has a 34/59 chance of any particular pass being completed, or about 58 percent.
So multiply that probability, 34/59 * 20 and you get 11.52. So he's likely to get between 11 and 12 completions in 20 passes. It's more than 11.5 so you could round it up to 12 completions for 20 passes.
OOPS. I didn't see the list of answers. 12 isn't on the list, 11 is the closest. So that would be D.

You will have to find the average percentage.
So I will do each percentage individually then add them up and find the average:
66%
62%
55%
38%
57%
70%
add all together: 348
divide by 6: 58%
now find 58% of 20: 20 x 58/100=11.6
so the answer is D. 11

59 ... 34
A total 57.6%
66%
63%
56%
38%
57%
70%
An average 58.3%
Either way, its closest to 11 out of 20, but not enough to be 12.
ANSWER
d. 11
