  • Are there any Democrat Christians?

    I am a Christian.

I read my Bible every night, attend church regularly, and believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior.

    I basically...love God. (:

However, whenever I tell people that, they always assume that my views align more with the Republican Party which definitely is not true.

I lean left politically, but do not consider myself a liberal. Obviously, religion should have nothing to do with politics. I am just curious to see if there are any Christians out there who are not rich, upper class Republicans who claim to hate gay marriage because "the Bible says it's wrong", yet see nothing wrong with denying the fact that global warming is occurring even though the Bible says to take care of the Earth He created.

    Jus' sayin'! :)

  • Why is pre-marital sex ok...?

    but being gay isn't?

Why do people like to pick and choose what to follow/believe in the Bible?

I know too many people who have pre-marital sex, who are greedy, who steal, lie, and are just awful people yet still call themselves Christians when asked how they feel about gay marriage and why it's "wrong". It's hypocrisy at its finest.

  • Is this realistic for a 16 year old?

    I may have a job this summer...like a REAL job. (:

I'm 16 years old. If I make 7.55 an hour, working from 9am to 6pm every weekday + 9am to 9pm on Saturdays and 2pm to 6pm on Sundays, could I actually make 460.55 in one week?

And $921.10 in one pay period (2 weeks)?

    I think that's far-fetched. Even for me.

  • Why are teens with NO experience getting jobs and I'm not?

I've done over 400 hours of volunteer work.

I know how to deal with ppl...and I still don't have a job.

This isn't fair? I've had like 5 interviews, and still nothing.

  • Why do employers give so much eye contact?

I've had several job interviews in the past couple days.

Something I noticed about all them: They NEVER take off eye contact. I understand eye contact when talking, but each one of these people had their eyes on me like it was on their lives.

    Why?

It makes me really uncomfortable and nervous, even though during a job interview, you're supposed to be relaxed?

  • Helpppp...how can I get my grey skinny jeans back to their normal color?

I bought some jeans like this:

    http://www.charlotterusse.com/product/index.jsp?pr...

And I washed them one time, and they go from being a light light grey to being almost black (a really dark grey). I loved these jeanss. Is there any way I can get them back to normal without buying a new pair?

  • Good character name.......?

What is a good name for a girl about 13-14 years old, who lives in an expensive penthouse apartment in Manhattan? Her mother is a famous wedding dress designer. She is in NO WAY spoiled, snobby or stuck up. She's a very sweet, down-to-Earth kid that her mom could learn some tips from. :P

I'd prefer if the name was unisex, but I'm 100% open to ANY name that would suit my character.

    Thank you sooo much :D

  • Why was the Union Jack so popular in the 80's?

I was watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off the other day and I saw that he had a giant Union Jack on the back of his door. I read somewhere else that the Union Jack was extremely popular in the 80's and it was just cool to have it on things. Why?

  • Why doesn't my French toast have any taste?

I've been trying to make the perfect French toast so I could one day serve it to my fam :D

Here's what I put into the batter:

    Eggs

    Milk

    Cinnamon

    Vanilla Extract

    A dash of salt

    A dash of sugar

Yet when I fry it, it has no taste! I can't even really taste the cinnamon.

Also, my bread is extremely soggy and oily from having to fry it too.

What can I do to fix my French toast problems? lol.

  • How do I know when my dog is finished peeing?

    I'm babysitting this dog.

Her owners say she's trained to use the bathroom. She'll cry and bark when she has to go so I'll just have to let her out, then.

The other day, I let her out, she used the restroom, ran around, and came straight to the door.

Then she peed on the kitchen floor? I was very upset.

How do you know when a dog is finished? What's the perfect time limit to know?
