1-9 with 9 being the worst

1. Bama- It was a game they could have won, shoulda won, but didn't.

2. Boise State- TCU IS a very good team. They started slow, but are a premier team. Boise was also playing with their 4th, 5th, and 6th string corners starting, which is why Pachall had a career day. And they really wish they had a kicker who could kick straight.

3. Oregon- LSU is the best team in the nation, no doubt. They're the only team to score that many points too.

4. Virginia Tech- Clemson is a good team, very overrated, but the Hokies could have won this.

5. Oklahoma- it ended a long home winning streak, but T. Tech is a bi-polar team. That night, the better side came out and the Red Raiders won

6. Arkansas- They were beaten down by an Alabama team that is clearly one of the three best in the nation. I wasn't suprised.

7. Clemson- This was when they started falling. Loss here, NEARLY lost to Wake Forest, and are losing bad again today to NC State.

8. Stanford- This was the best chance Stanford had for proving they were BCS NC material, and completely failed. Not only that, they were blown out at home and Andrew Luck looked nothing like an NFL QB

9. Oklahoma State- Iowa State had never beaten a team ranked higher than 7th. You could say the coaches' deaths had an effect, but that's not a viable excuse. Flat out Oklahoma St. had the inside track to the NC game and blew it against a mediocre at best team.

9 is the least worse, #1 is the worse.

#9:Oregon-It was the start of the season, and basically a road game. That's why it was the least bad loss

#8:Alabama-They killed themselves at home with that horrible kicking game. Field Goals could decide the winner of the LSU vs (Insert name here) Championship game.

#7:Clemson-A bad loss, but somehow not as bad as the remaining losses on this list

#6:Stanford-They scored 30 points, so at least we know they have an offense.

#5:Oklahoma State-A road loss to a decent team. This was a total trap game.

#4:Boise-A loss at home to an OK team. Embarassing.

#3:Arkansas-A blowout loss to Alabama. There's no reason a mediocre Alabama offense should score that many points.

#2:Virginia Tech-Blown out by a solid team. They only scored 3 points in that loss.

#1:Oklahoma-Losing to Texas Tech at home? Really?!? Since beating Oklahoma, Tech has lost 3 straight games. Including a 66-6 loss to Oklahoma State and a 52-20 loss to Texas. Oh, and a 41-7 loss to Iowa State.

In order of worst loss

1. Oklahoma loses AT HOME to a pathetic Texas Tech. Score not indicative of the TTU beat down.

2. Boise loses AT HOME to an unranked TCU. Struggled to stay in game from kickoff.

3. Oklahoma State loses to a pathetic Iowa State.

4. Stanford loses at home to a very good Oregon team.

5. Virginia Tech loses to a good Clemson AT HOME.

6. Clemson loses to an unranked Georgia Tech, never in game.

7. Alabama loses AT HOME to #1 team in country without scoring a touchdown, nor allowing a touchdown.

8. Arkansas loses to Alabama. Arkansas third best team in SEC which arguably makes them third best team in country.

9. Oregon loses at Jerry World aka The Death Star opening weekend of the college season. If a rematch is in order for the title game I would rather see an improved Oregon.

I am not convinced that any team can play with Arkansas much less LSU or Alabama. When considering worst losses eliminating a team from contention I think OU and OSU win that badge of mediocrity. Boise would not have been fed to SEC winner regardless but must win at home. It astounds me that the ‘pundits’ are considering OU as the best 1 loss team as they screwed the pooch at home to TTU! If OSU wins Bedlam OSU DOES NOT deserve the same consideration because they lost to freaking Iowa State! Assuming (key word) LSU remains undefeated a PAC 12 champ Oregon is the logical # 2. The question that should be concerning the BCS right now is what if Arkansas beats LSU forcing a 3 way tie in the SEC West? OR what if LSU loses to Georgia in the SEC championship? Is the title game then Ok St (Big 12 champ) vs Oregon (PAC 12 champ)? What about the ACC champ? Looks like they will be one loss too. The one question not yet asked…What about an undefeated Houston? Boise wants in playing in the MWC or WAC? Houston should get the same consideration playing in C-USA.

Alabama- such a narrow loss!

Oregon- 13 point loss to LSU at a neutral site (actually it was a home game for LSU) can actually help you chances

Arkansas- no shame in getting pummelled by alabama.

Stanford- with key players out, an excusable loss against a top-5 team.

Virginia Tech- Clemson is as good as people think but it's only 3 point loss.

Clemson- Georgia Tech is not as bad as people think

Boise State- one good team on your schedule and you lost to that team, even though it was a heartbreaker.

OU- it's bad losing to Texas Tech, but at least it's not Iowa State

@ Lee Corso: Why so close-minded? Did you know LSU ALSO had 2 weeks to prepare and were also totally focused on the game. Plus, they were ranked #1. Meanwhile Oklahoma lost at home to unranked Texas Tech. So impressive.

To answer your question: I pretty much agree with PNP.

15 cent: Bama only scored 17 points on offense. The rest came on special teams/Defense.

Forget the loss, Oklahoma has BY FAR the most impressive wins!
