It shouldn't get violent. Violence doesn't prove anything. Just become focused on a unified objective. OWS seems lost. The Tea Party seems more organized. They put legislators in Congress.

No. The OWS protests are non-violent and they should remain that way.

It appears only the boys in blue are causing any violence; shame, because the whole world is watching American citizens being denied their First Amendment right to peaceably protest and speak.

Violence is purely a confession of ignorance and I feel some sorrow for the police officers being forced to abuse their own countrymen/women because they are in fear of losing their jobs.

Definitely not. While many people around the world empathise with Americans in their hardships during these hard times, violence is no answer. We can only hope America will choose to return to her well worn path of common sense and good community and remove herself from the elitists exclusive society she is becoming.

No. We're tying to change things, and you don't do that with violence. All violence gets you the same old thing, but with different people in charge. (See above mentioned French Revolution)

To what end? Since we all do not know what are the goals of th emovement it is hard to speculate on what is needed to achieve those goals
