Why do people hate cats?

I love both cats and dogs, but I love how cats are just so loving and always want attention :)

I used to hate cats until my sisters found Sandy ( my cat). Cats aren't very in tune to their owners and they don't do much which is a down side to them for me. Sandy is very talkative so I have no idea how you think that all cats don't make noise.My cat has some quirks about her that I find cute. She doesn't mind balling up and sleeping with four dogs and she likes to just lay on my chest. I am allergic to Sandy but a little sneezing and watery eyes is worth it. Sandy and every other cat I know pee and poop in places other than their litter boxes so your point about them doing their business in one place is false. My dogs however manage their dog door and do their business outside each time. Cats aren't my favorite pets because I am a dog person for life and my dogs are my life. I like a pet that I can go out and do things with and trust them not to run away if I have them off leash.I need an active pet who will run and keep me active. I also like the diversity in the looks of dogs. All cats look the same to me except the colors. It also doesn't look good on a cats resume that I am highly allergic to them.

Dogs don't poop everywhere and are not always loud. Some people hate cats because cats (outdoor ones) poop and pee on their lawns, dig in their gardens and kill birds.

I have two cats (indoor only) and two dogs. One of my cats make more noise then both dogs.

Cuz dey hiss and scratch and poop and scratch and hiss and poop and fly through space pooping out rainbows with a poptart for a body while singing and they poop.

Because cats show no affection and if you train a dog correctly thery are perfect!!

Cats are sneaky.. there like snakes on 4 legs...ewwww.. I love dogs tho

maybe because they throw up hair balls.
