The most common symptoms of liver failure is fluid retention in the abdomen to where you could look pregnant called ascites, yellow skin and/or whites of eyes called jaundice, easy to bruise, blood does not clot well, fatigue, confusion such as memory loss and behavior changes even leading to hallucinations brought on from high ammonia levels in which the liver cannot clear out ammonia, and internal bleeding. These are the main symptoms of liver failure. By the time any physical signs show up such as these, the liver failure can be far advanced. Often times there are no signs until the disease is in the later stage. That's why it's good to get routine liver function blood work done yearly so a person can find out early that there might be a problem.

Usually, one of the main symptoms of a liver issue is jaundice, or yellow skin/ eyes. There might be physical pain around the abdomen or joints and urine may become darker.
