If Alabama wins by one score do you think a split national title could happen this year?

Keep in mind that the AP Poll is just as valid as the BCS Title according to the NCAA.

If that happens I wouldn't put it past voters to vote for somebody else entirely. The AP voters have been known to try to make a point before, and don't seem to particularly like the SEC. I don't think it WILL happen that way but I wouldn't be entirely shocked if it does.

  • No because the Ap wouldnt vote the loser of the game as number one... and the bcs cant. so we wont have a split title unless someone other than the two bcs schools wins the ap

No. Whatever team wins the BCS title game they will be the national champion...I don't see the AP poll voting any other way that will the winner.....

No. In this system, split National titles are practically impossible. If Alabama plays in the National Title game and wins, they'll be crowned national champions. The system rewards those who lose early and punishes those who lose late.

It shouldn't. The #1 Tigers already went on the road and beat #2 Alabama. There's no reason they can't beat that same team a second time in the Superdome on January 9th. If Alabama wins, they deserve to be crowned undisputed National Champions.

It could happen, but I thought that the AP is no longer recognized by the NCAA?

Cowboy Neal: There really is no way to predict how the AP will vote.

i'm guessing Nate (Tiny) Archibald. He did that. i'm no longer possitive whether it relatively is maximum likley. I study NBA historic previous and all it noted became him and triumphing the scoring and assists.

Nope. The deal breaker would be the fact that alabama didnt even win its division.
