The problem I have with any religious God...?

What do you want, in imperfect god?

Wouldn't be God if he wasn't the highest of all being and the source of being itself.

Think about the trillions of bacteria that live in your digestive tract. They are neccessary for you, in order for you achieve healthy digestion. If you kill off too many of them, say by a consumption of large amounts of alcohol, you'll have a sour stomach. But do you ever spare them a thought? Do you worry if one bacterium may not believe that you exist?

The Shinto chief diety isn't more powerful than the combined strength of all the other Kami. Aristotle's Demiurge, his uncreated creator, the first cause, isn't more important than all the following causes.

The Judeo-Christian and Muslim Paradigms are NOT the only games in town.

Not all gods claim to be all those things you have mentioned. Many man made gods only claim certain powers. Look at Greek myths for example. Look at the Hindu gods, another example. Only the true God, Jehovah, are those things you have described.
