If only the truly disabled were eligible for Welfare, wouldn't that make everyone happy?

Except of course for those that are on it that could work but don't

    Yes, even those you excluded.

    Dependency induces bitterness, anger, indignation and entitlement.

    When people are expected to provide for themselves and their families they are happier, content, and prideful

    ... even though they might "think" they would be happy being absolved of personal responsibility

    Welfare is not that easy to get. Usually one has to be disabled or have small children. If it were easy, then they homeless would not be fighting for shelter space.
