Reoccurring dream. What does it mean?

I have this reoccurring dream about my boyfriend.

It starts out that we're in a bus station, and some people push past us and he falls to the ground. Then next thing you know it he's ill. When taking him to the hospital, they diagnose him with a fatal disease that will kill him, in a certain amount of days. So I try to make his last few days amazing for him so he can die knowing he's done everything possible. But when it comes to the day he's supposed to die, he doesn't die.... When taking him back to the hospital, they say the same again, that he only has a few days to live. And this goes on over and over and over again. He never does actually die.

I just wondered if this had any meaning. I have it every night practically.

Update:

We're both rather old-fashioned and traditional but not to that point. We both have equal parts in the relationship so i know its not that! Our relationship is great!

First, just think about your experience, that keeps repeating. This is most logically what the dream will be about.

I am totally guessing. Supposing it is about a relationship, can the following be at all true?

A bus station = About to travel, or go to new destination, probably meaning in your relationship. Like to the next step.

People push past us and he falls to the ground = Seems you miss the journey and he falls, perhaps due to others.

He's ill = He or the relationship goes bad.

I try to make his last few days amazing for him = When your relationship dies or he goes dead, you try to do all you can, thinking it will end.

When it comes to the day he's supposed to die, he doesn't die.= The relationship doesn't end.

    You repeat the same situation.

A seemingly simple but actually very interesting dream filled with evocative symbols and with a theme of change, maturity and self-sacrifice.

It is highly significant that the dream takes place at a bus terminal. It is a dropping off and collection point and a transport crossroads where travellers meet and journeys begin - or end. It is a highly organised place but can seem chaotic at times. Does that image reflect any part of your own life or relationships with others?

There are only 2 defineable characters - the archetypal male and female. The male figure in the dream, however, absolutely does not represent your boyfriend.

The male figure is actually an avatar from your subconscious and represents an unsatisfied part of you which remains undeveloped (ill with a disease) at this time. This may be anything; it could be a creative urge you cannot exploit (painting, writing, singing dancing) or it may be a career/educational path that you feel is being denied to you in response to family or peer group influences.

The busy station, like our teenage years, is a place where we can constantly and literally change the direction our lives will follow.

People pushing past you represent felllow travellers on life's journey. Do you feel anyone is doing better than you (or rejecting you) in some way at this time? Are you losing touch with groups of friends or has work or college become less accessible or important to you recently?

Consider at present whether you have issues with your family, this may be siblings or parents? it is very much a dream of a person who can seem superficially confident but in reality is very sensitive

"He" falls but not you. In other words, you are prepared to delay your journey (life) alone but you take him protectively to hospital, so he can recover . (This does indicate you can't let your ambition die and also suggests that you may tend to a caring nature).

Throughout the dream, you are resilient, protective and supportive of the "boyfriend" (your, as yet , unrealised ambition or hopes).

Trying to make "his" terminal illness happier the dream suggests you are sacrificing some part of yourself and shows that despite your independent ideals, you may be at times a people pleaser who feels the need to be responsible for others actions.

This does imply that you can often be easily hurt and can doubt your own right to happiness

The really positive aspect is that "he" your unrealised potential, never dies but lives on. In other words, you know that, at some point, you will fully exploit those talents and abilities you are holding back at this time because of outside influences.

This is the nature of life. Your friends and family are there to be loved, certainly, but they are also there to provide you with the necessary support and encouragement that YOU need. It is not a one way street.

The traveling represents a existence adventure, be it a chum or kinfolk dating. The bridge represents replace. Falling in a dream represents failure. in case you in no way hit the floor you're uncertain of failure. Can or no longer it is which you have this dream whilst uncertain approximately relationships and how they are going to come out? terrified of failing and letting bypass? I additionally see it is normally somebody else using the vehicle. you have gotten themes with administration or somebody else controlling you. think of it over.

It sounds like you might feel like you've succumb to the traditional gender role in which the woman is constantly pleasing the man by cooking, cleaning, and taking care of other things like children. And maybe you feel trapped in that expectation because he never actually dies, he just keeps getting re-diagnosed, which leads to you feeling like you need to make everyday good for him.

But I have no idea if your relationship's like that, it just sounds like it.

wow, i have a dream about me fighting my dad to the death, sometimes itll really get me

just ignore it, read a few prayers before you sleep, hopefully itll get better

most dreams wont really mean anything (other than something like you argued with person A and you want to win)

dont take it too seriously, you dont want to be in a bad mood every single day...

You expect something from your boy friend. But you are not getting it.Yet the relation is continuing.Perhaps it may be pure love without receiving anything.Love for the sake of love but not for any benefits.

Maybe, its your head asking you how you feel about him,and tryna get a reaction,or like asking you how you would feel if he was to be poorly,if you haven't already tell him about the dream and tell him you love him or just how you feel
