Are people starting to understand that Ron Paul has a huge following?

always saying the elections he wins are irrelevant. Does that make sense?

    The media is doing their best to make it look like Ron Paul cannot win. Why? Because he has a better chance to win than most people think. If he really had no chance of winning then they would not even bother with their little hit-piece "articles", which are basically a collection of pure lies (he's isolationist), making absurd assumptions (he is for personal responsibility so "therefore" he would let someone die if they didn't have health insurance) and twisting his views (he tells the truth about why the terrorists attacked us, which was because we were occupying their land, in other words he "blames America for 9/11")

    Almost EVERY mainstream news "article" is filled with this vile garbage, why would they have to go to such lengths to try to discredit someone who has "no chance"???

    As a Democrat and a yellow dog Democrat at that(I would vote for a yellow dog before I would a Republican) I pray every night that Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin, or Rick Perry get the Republican nomination for president. Then I don't have to worry about shortsighted narrowminded bigoted governors suppressing the vote in the 2012 election.

    We understand that Ron Paul has an adament and annoying following, but with poll after poll after poll after poll, year after year showing that he STILL attracts only about 10% of the voters in the Republican party, I don't think it could be truthfully said that Ron Paul has a "huge" following. A hugely annoying and a hugely vocal following for sure, but in numbers...not so big Gallup tracking poll 13%. CNN/opinion poll 14% PPP poll 11%. and this is among only Republicans. He has a much lower approval among Democrats and independents. Those are the numbers. Claiming he has a "huge" following is what makes no sense!

    He doesn't have a hugh following. His followers really subscribe to the conservative and idealistic beliefs of the Libertarian Party. A league of their own. He knew he couldn't win as a Libertarian so he had to find a home. He then chose the Republican Party for his run as a rep in Congress. He may have some fringe supporters but for the most part he won't have a chance in a general presidential election. He will need mainstream independent and large swing support voters from both parties. He won't have it. Also, he'll need one heck of $$$! Romney seems to have a big lead on him regarding that point.

    He doesn't have a "huge" following. He's polling well in IA, but that's among Republicans (not Dems and Independents) that say they will attend the caucuses. That's a tiny portion of Republican voters in IA, much less the registered Democrats and Independents!

    I think winning any election is relevant.....but winning IA will not get him the Republican nomination. It's only one tiny step in a long haul toward the Republican convention this summer. My money's still on Mitt.

    Ron Paul supporters should insist that he make a 3rd party run if he doesn't get the Republican nomination. What he has to say is very important to a segment of the population. He shouldn't just quit because Republican leaders don't like him.

    Not that there is any proof of it. Just kids, like yourself. Otherwise you would know that he has won no, zero, elections. He has won straw polls and even lost one that he put on. Go look up straw poll and see how it is just so important.

    Val is not too smart. Paul does not represent a state. He represents a very small district where the largest city does not even have a scheduled airline service. I know. I lived there many years.

    He has a relatively small, very committed following within the GOP. But his views will never be accepted by the right-wing Republican base, who have the major say in selecting the party's nominee. Hence, he will never be the party's nominee.

    They'll do everything to discredit Ron Paul, because they know he is the very man to pull America back on track. Mainstream media are controlled puppets anyone can see that.

    Dr Ron Paul = save America

    Obama = destroy America

    Why don't we just wait for the primaries to find that out? I don't need you or anyone else telling me how much support he has...your word isn't gonna reel me in and offer support.

    He hasn't won any elections except the ones for his seat in Congress. His following is not huge.
