Is lust a sin if it is between two people that truly love each other?

Sexual desire is a natural part of romantic love. That's why babies exist.

I personally think it's bad to have lust if it means that you're demeaning that person and reducing them to a sexual object. That's clearly not what you're doing here. You respect each other, the love you have for each other is three dimensional and complex, and sexual desire is just one part of it, adding to the complexity. If you think it's sinful to act on your desires before marriage, just don't act on them, but that doesn't mean you can't look forward to it when the time is appropriate for you. (:

Even in the marriage bed lust can be carried too far. A reasonable relationship brings the love of Jehovah ahead of marital duties. Prayer to Jehovah will calm things down, and deepen your love for your marriage mate.

Only if you are married to other people. Sex is marriage and marriage is honorable. Is your desire to do something honorable or are you wanting to cheat on a spouse.

no, god created the body and believes in sex if people are in love. How else would people reproduce. every birth is a blessing. And sex is the way us mortals get a glimpse of heaven and paradise I believe
