Why is the wrong answer voted the best answer on Yahoo! Answers?

Mainly it is the fault of the asker for not either deleting the question before it went to vote, or not choosing a Best Answer themselves before it went to vote.

When a question is asked, it is open for 4 days (or 8 if extended) before it goes to vote. That's plenty of time for an asker to choose. If they don't then they run the risk that other users will vote for an answer they don't like.

the only answer is to delete the question till now 4 days have handed. After which you have not any administration different than balloting for "no terrific answer" which basically counts as one vote. you won't be ready to place up a contravention for a incorrect answer, basically a non answer. you are able to constantly upload a remark. ? ??l???q ?

So giving TDs to those who gave you the correct answer makes up for that? You may not want to hear the truth but the fact is if you resolve the Q yourself don't blame those who do.I have too much respect for those who answer my Qs, then to walk away from it.
