out of the microwave?
The plastic covering on the dinner burned and smoked and the whole tray was blackened. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

In large safe container put 1cup of water, add 1/2 a chopped lemon, pulp, rind and all and a couple drops of vanilla or peppermint extract or cloves.
Zap on high for 3 to 4 minutes or until bubbling and let it steam on window. Open door after it cools down and wipe off surfaces.

The reason the microwave still smells is because of the fan. The fan that runs the microwave has the bad smelling air still in it. You need to run the microwave for a while, with something in it, and the smell should go away on its own. You should clean the microwave first as to make sure you are not bringing the smell back again, thus defeating the purpose.

Wipe the oven out with a cloth with vanilla (not imitation) on it. Put some bicarb soda on a saucer and put it in the oven. Leave it there until you need to use the oven again, then replace when finished and your oven will stay clean smelling.
