Why do gays keep insulting straights?

Lets consider why there are MORE homosexuals today?

Perhaps due the change in social structure ?

Economics ? Environment ?

100 years ago... i am certain there were homosexuals.

But, if you take a look at the social class of those who were .....

.... were they from poverish families ?

Has diposable income and the change in social class have 'created' a norm for MORE homosexuality ? is it boredom ? Less struggle in day to day life that has created a myth of homosexuality ?

If ALL homosexuals were put to HARD work..... and put them through the struggles of the 18th or 19th century.... would there be homosexuality ?

....to answer you question: The insults would stop.... if the person in question were to be put through 12 months of hard labor.

So called "normal people" insult gay people all the time. Just because it's your opinion it's a mental illness doesn't make it so. If gay people are happy with who they are then why do you feel the need to fix them. Maybe you should mind your own business instead forcing your views on others. Live and let live.

OK, I do not agree with your point of view for many reasons; however, for these "gays" who "keep on insulting straights" I'd say they do it for the same reasons certain "straights" just cant seem to accept "gays." Also, if it is in your words a "mental illness" then in that case they were more than likely born with it and cant help how they act or who they insult. Are there pills for this illness?

im in favor of thomas' answer on this one. im straight but ill support free speech in favor of my own sensitivities all day. being straight is not something im sensitive about though. if someone wants to straight-bash, feel free. bash away on us heteros ! i also dont think that this would escalate into any larger problem. i actually think it would be an incredibly healthy & productive thing if people didnt have to supress their feelings & thoughts for fear of becoming a social pariah (labeled a bigot).

You seem to be half a century or more behind the times with your views on sexuality given that the entire western culture of scientists/medics removed homo-bisexuality from its list of disorders over fifty years ago and intelligent educated people now view the 20% of the worlds populatrion who are homo/bi as a part of the norm and always have been.

I'm hoping you are trolling, because homosexuality is not a "mental illness" nor is there anything wrong with it.

Though I do agree they should insult gay haters like you instead of straight people in general, because the ones that hate on straight people are directing their hatred towards the wrong people.

why should a man be labeled as mentally ill for loving another man? I can see if he has sex with them and then eats them, but love is not a mental illness, nor is physical attraction.

they want you to acknowledge their actions as legitimate and not a disorder. They dont care about if the state will let them be in a union with full rights, they want their union to be called a marriage, they want to force the clergy to wed them like straight couples, and they want people that oppose this to deal with it and not hide from it.
