Would Levamisole HCl be ok for deworming cats?

It's usually for deworming farm animals. Would there be any side effects if it was given to a cat? What would the correct dosage be?

The only non-farm animal use I'm aware of is it can be used to treat dogs for heartworm. It has tons of side effects - and probably not a good nor safe choice for deworming cats. Given the inexpensive safe wormers for cats why would you use this? Livestock wormers often have to be compounded to be given to a small animal like a cat, and overdose is a very risky reality.
