maybe she is pregnant and looking for the place ...or she is sick.

A cat's natural instinct is to hide when it is sick or injured. In the wild, a sick animal is easy prey for others, so hiding makes them less noticeable. Since cats cannot talk and cannot tell us when something is wrong with them, we need to always be aware of the telltale signs, like hiding or a lack of appetite. When you see any of these, it is a clue that something is wrong.
