Please help! Denied the disney internship, but it didn't make sense:Details below?
Hi all :)
Here's the story: I applied for the disney internship for fall 2012 in the past few days. I submitted the basic information and was immediately denied further application, even though I was allowed to proceed last time I applied: I can't even proceed to the web-based interview.
I applied last fall for the current session (spring 2012) and made it to the web-based interview and was denied after that, which is fair because it is more complex. But I do not understand how I can be denied after just the initial information submission, and it was instant (on a Saturday), so I know it was done by computer.
Does this seem right to any of you? I don't understand how one can be denied so quickly; I don't have any criminal record, am able to work all the roles, and have no schedule conflicts. Is it possible the Disney computers have an error?
If anyone knows how I can get more information or contact the program by phone, I would appreciate you sharing it. This is something I really really want, and I am sure this has happened to other people.
Thanks! :)

Most likely the reason you did not pass the previous interview has put you on the do not hire list. When the system matched up with SSN with the previous SSN, the computer knew to pop up with = thank you but no thank you.
It is very doubtfult that the computer has an error. Most likely they don't like your communication style or your answers from the previous interview.
This is completely legal.

Once you took the test and failed it then your put in a do not interview list for at least six months. Wait a year and try again then your name will be fresh in the system

It sounds like they just didn't want you.
Sorry, but it happens. Move on, or try again another time.
