Help! My sims 3 game keeps getting stuck!?

This happened to me once, (except it froze every time I tried to light my house on fire ((don't ask)) )

Anyway, I just uninstalled then reinstalled (like the other person suggested).

But after a few weeks, it started happening again ALL the time to the point where I could even launch the game, and it turned something on my computer didn't match the requirements.

Try this if all else fails: (It's helped me with other freezing issues, and it helps with lag.:D)

Right click on the games' shortcut (if saved on your desktop)

Click on properties. Click on the compatibility tab. Under the heading where it says 'Compatibility mode,' make sure its set to run in the operstioning system that is the same as your computer's operating system. So my computer is Windows 7. But the compatibilty mode's default setting was Windows XP. So I checked the box next to 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' then I chose Windows 7.

definite, that's a glitch, yet when that's some thing like the glitch the position sims get stuck in mattress after woo hoo ( i imagine that's similar), then try evicting your sim to the clipboard and then shifting him again in. that's going to get rid of all of your desires, yet I were given a dozen desires storming in and were given the unique 4 in there too so as that should not be mission.

You're probably running a low-end video card...

try re downloading it
