Why does Jesus sacrifice rely so much on PR?

--I mean, if the Romans decided to crucify the 12 apostles up there with him, wouldn't we all be in hell?

--Why should non-Christians go to hell because Christians can't argue their case well enough to convert the nonbelievers? Really, it seems like it is more the Christians fault than anyone else's...

It's not the job of the Christian to convert people. It's only our job to go into all the world and spread the Good News. The Holy Spirit is the one who draws people to Jesus and each person has to choose to push away that wooing or accept it. If a person rejects the Holy Spirit's drawing He Himself will not force the person to accept. How do you expect a mere mortal person to do what the Holy Spirit can't? It's not about arguing our case or arguing at all. If a person rejects Christ that's their choice. Why would you put the blame on anyone else?

Because if Jesus had forced them to believe then it wouldn't be by choice and by faith. Non Christians will be given, if not in this life then the next, enough knowledge to convert them. If they so choose at that time to deny Christ then Christ will have no choice but to let them face their own sin's as they will have denied his atonement. Thus they cannot be saved as he was the only perfect person who ever lived. His being perfect and with out sin he was able to atone for the sin's of all people.
