Toy Panda Dogs....WTF!?!?

Question

So last night I was on hoobly looking around and what was being sold locally, out of sheer boredom. I then come across this ad -  http://www.hoobly.com/0/0/1950555.html . under that were four ads for "rare breed toy panda" pups.

Of course I had to go look this up and found their website. http://toypandadog.com/

Apparently they are looking for people to join their breeding program. You get a "Free" pup(minus shipping) that you foster for their breeding program. My guess is these are at least spaniel mixes. Hard to say for sure since even after 8-10 years of breeding(their claim) they have not even come close to having consistency as far as looks (click on join our breeders)

Anyways these guys plus the people at the other FOUR toy mutt pages are supposedly producing therapy dogs on the smaller side; well therapy dogs and overpriced toy mutts at 800 and up a pop.

Now onto the questions
1. Whats your opinion on this?
2. Do you think after all the time spent on this "breed" they should have SOME consistency in their breeding dogs?
3. Do you think most people are joining into this for a cheap do and for the chance to provide therapy dogs without realize just how much work really does go into breeding?

My opinion is that they apparently don't know what a panda looks like....

I love the "rare Toy Panda known as the Black Bear!". Other than being black, I don't see the resemblance. Again, they don't appear to understand that Pandas differ greatly from any other kind of bear.

And honestly, I think *they* think there is some consistency there. I mean, hey - they're all tiny and they sell for a lot! "Breed standard" met!

As for those that are joining in on their "program" - I think they just want to play with and whelp puppies. Everyone does, you know.

My opinion is that those puppies look nothing like Pandas and that these breeders have found a way to make some money. 

As for consistency, it doesn't appear they have had much success with that. They should establish that consistency before they call it a "breed". 

Maybe the people joining in on this think they are helping provide therapy dogs, but I guess they don't realize that any breed can be a therapy dog.

1.These are just papillion/chihuahua mixes. Maybe some other breeds also. These people who started it probably don't know much about breeding.
2.It does take a looong time to get consistency. Especially if they are using more than two different breeds in their breeding program.
3.ANY breed can be a "therapy dog". It's just a scam to get money and make more dogs for no reason. This mix they are making doesn't even have a purpose. It doesn't hunt or herd or do anything.

McDonald's is done with those toys as of July 3rd. You might get lucky checking thrift stores, local collectible stores, or ebay. I've seen happy meal toys in antique stores not even opened.

They are a poorly bred mix breed. Most likley originally started in a puppy mill and were popular or something. completley irresponsible breeding.

My opinion? That's disgusting. And their guarantees are crap.
Nah, they obviously don't cull like real breeders do. 
Yes, they just care about the cutesy wutesy aspect.
