What do you think of the name Bump?
Getting a Shiffon (Brussels Griffon x Shih Tzu) in a week. The name Bump started out as a joke, because I have always been a big dog person and said that a small dog would just be a little bump compared to my big guys. The name has kind of stuck with family and friends. Thoughts? Is it too ridiculous, or ridiculously cute?
Sorry...I am in the horse section a lot and naming posts drive me nuts, but I am really on the fence about this one and would appreciate some input from fellow dog lovers:)

NAMES: Think of something in your life that is exciting and excellent. Could be an experience you had, a dream, or a goal you have. See if a name emerges from that. For example, a computer geek might name his dog Mac, or Dos, or Click! An auto mechanic might use Carb, or Chevy. A religious person might use Praise. Pick something that's positive, powerful, and meaningful to you. That way, your dog becomes a living embodiment of something great in your life.

I think it needs another syllable. Bumpo, Bumper, Bumpy...? A more distinctive sound (such as Bumpo has) that doesn't sound like any command or a part of ordinary speech makes it easier for the dog to know when you are speaking to him/her.

bump is a goof name for any animal that's the best thing with an animal it doesn't have to be strict it can be fun and idiotic in a way but if you named a kid that i would pray for his future (im not a god baring person).
