hydraulic line removal on transmission 97 ranger manual?

how do you unhook the slave cylinder line from the manual transmission? i can see a very small bolt through the access cover beside it but it is way up inside and likely not it.

    You need to buy the disconnect tool from any auto parts store. It pushes the white plastic collar in to release the line.

  • Welcome to Fords world, not a serviceable part, your pulling the whole transmission and replacing the slave and master, while your in there might as well put a clutch kit in it, meaning pressure plate friction disk throwout and master, pay me now or pay me later I always say.
