There's too many "good universities" out there. "Medical field" is rather generic. There are good schools for their med schools (to be a doctor), there are schools known for their nursing program, or their dental programs. It all depends on what kind of career in the "medical field" you're looking at.

With a B average you won't be going to Harvard, obviously. If money isn't an issue, you go wherever your little heart desires as long as they will accept you. Or, if money is an issue like it is for most of us these days, you can start off cheap by taking the most common undergraduate general education courses (Freshman / Sophomore level English Composition, Biology, Chemistry, etc.) and then transfer when you're ready to apply to a specific degree major and meet their program's admission criteria. For most of us regular folk, state colleges and universities are often the most affordable and practical choice. No reason to move out of state unless you really want to relocate, or if schools in your area don't offer the degree program you end up seeking.
