Why do certain Theists believe that dinosaurs never existed?

Becuase they found out that dinosaurs where actually prehistoric birds.

But the reason some theists dont believe they did, is, because science have made most of the bones out of plastic, they have never found a compleat set of bones, so that would turn them away, as well as calling them dinosaues instead of dragons.

Don't know... I'm a Christian, and I believe that dinosaurs existed. Some people don't believe anything unless it is written in their Bibles or other religious books. Guess what? I believe bacteria extists, but that word is nowhere in the Christian Bible. They can't explain it, they feel uncomfortable with it because they can't find it exactly in their scripture, so they deny it. oh well.

They don't. Sometimes they feel they have to deny that prehistoric creatures existed, but most of the time they just put it at the back of their minds and don't let it interfere with their beliefs.

It really punches a hole in the whole bible literalists belief.
