What do you think of the bride getting drunk at her wedding and falling down like twice? Was it she really di?

She fell down twice. Many people commented how drunk she was. They had been living together and had a baby.

Update:

Only mentioned that they had been together so you knew she was used to him. It was a beautiful wedding. I thought maybe by her actions she really didn't won't to get married, that's why she drunk so much.

I don't generally approve of ANYONE getting drunk enough to fall down once, let alone twice.

That being said, it's her day. If she wants to make a fool out of herself and puke down her $2000 dress then she can fly at 'er.

Her wedding will be the talk of the season and not for good reason.

No bride plans to get drunk and fall down, making a fool of herself.

However, I had to be reminded to eat at my wedding because I was busy socializing. So, perhaps she drank more than she ate. I could have easily made this mistake if my brides maid did not remind me that I HAD to eat more food. Which I did and all was fine.

So? We've all been there... Maybe not at our weddings, but at some other time. Who is anyone to judge? What does her living with him and having a baby have to do with it? She may regret getting so drunk that she looked less then graceful, and she might not remember it all (which is unfortunate), but if I wasn't PREGNANT at my wedding, I may have overindulged, which is common when the wine is flowing and spirits are high. So put your judgement back in your pocket, for there, but for the grace of God, we might also go someday. She had fun. It was her wedding... It's all good.

I went to a wedding like that, the bride was settting a horrible example for her son (and she was pregnant too) as she became an angry drunk, falling all over the place, yelling at her bridesmaids and then smoking pot off to the side, with her toddler right there. What an idiot. I felt horrible for the groom's parents who had planned and paid for the beautiful event that the bride was set on destroying. Clearly, I don't think much of that behaviour.

I think a drunk bride is tacky - this is why I don't plan on drinking on my wedding day.I think I saw it in a soap or on a movie, where a mum was dying and she told/wrote a letter to her daughter advising her to drink 2 glasses of champagne - one on the morning and then one at the toasts - on her wedding day and be a true lady

I also hold no truck with parents who drink to that level when their kids are with them - in my country,it is actually a crime to be drunk while in charge of a minor. My fiance and I only have 2 glasses with a meal when we have our son - we believe it shows him responsible drinking - but if we want to get blotto, then he goes to a friends or we go out and leave him with a sitter

However, getting drunk is not a sign that she didn't want to get married. She simply didn't know when to stop. She may also not have eaten very much due to nerves and/or excitement and it hit her like a bus - intoxication is affected by many things.I know the first few times I had a drink after I gave birth and was off strong painkillers,it hit me hard and fast (I hadn't touched a drop in a year) and that was on a full stomach too.Maybe drop the judgement just a touch. She probably feels awful that she made such a spectacle of herself

it is pretty tacky to get drunk at your wedding. im paranoid about this so im going to not drink a lot at the wedding...glass of champagne for toasts and maybe a glass of wine with dinner (drunk photos are awful especially given the cost of photographers for weddings!!)

its possible she wasnt used to drinking after having the baby though (9 months without drinking during pregnancy and then however long the breastfeeding lasted) so maybe even one or two glasses of wine sent her over the edge. or she was a bit nervous and thought of using alcohol to calm her down and took it too far! doesnt mean she didnt want to get married in my opinion

I think it's her wedding and if she wants to get that drunk then that's her choice.

Maybe she drank that much becuase she has a drinking problem. Alcoholics usually don't know when to quit.
