Can you melt store bought cream cheese frosting?
I'm making cake pops and I'm wondering if you can melt store bought cream cheese frosting and dip the cake pops in the melted frosting??

Yes you can melt it in your microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stir, heat again, it will be like a glaze. If you over heat and it seems too thin, let it cool again and stir, till it's the consistency you want. If want you to thicken again just beat them with a elec. beater to fluff them up again.
I use these when I make dough nuts and coffee cakes sometimes to make glazes when I'm short on ingredients.They work quite well.
