How much does it cost to get a radiator fan fixed?
I have a 98 Olds Intrigue V6 3.8 It has been overheating I changed the thermostat, radiator cap and temp sensor. I have 2 fans and the one on the passenger side is not turning on. The one that does turn on turns on about half way between 1/2 and 3/4 hot.

The fan is not very expensive. I would say 100 for parts, 100 for labor and anything more then that....ask a lot of questions!!!

Electric Cooling Fans vary in expense from vehicle to vehicle, what's most important is that you have
your problem diagnosed properly and are replacing the right component or element which is causing
the fan not to work. There are several switches and sensors that may the culprit.
On that note, if you are sure the fan is the problem, naming the year/model/make of the car will help
along with this vehicles engine size and whether or not it's an automatic or manual transmission.
If it's an automatic transmission there are cooling lines involved that run through the radiator and
in many cases the radiator must be removed to reinstall the fan motor. This changes the cost of the
labor.

Is the electrical powered radiator cooling fan working whilst the sprint temperature reaches 212 levels? If no longer, the 1st area of exchange is the electrical powered fan change interior the engine block. If the fan IS working, whilst replaced into the lest time the coolant replaced into drained, flushed and total cooling device wiped clean.
