How to deal with pushy sister in law?
My sister in law keeps making hints and little comments about me babysitting for her. We're about the same age but she's a stay at home mom of 2 and I have no kids and have a job...and don't like kids very much.
I think it's annoying for her to keep making those comments because like I said, I work 40 hrs. per week and she stays home. She has her parents, my in laws already babysitting for them when they want to go out and a neighbor kid who babysits, I've already declined although not as forcefully as I should because I want to keep things nice between us for my husband's sake.
Any ideas on how I should handle this next time she says: "You could babysit for us one day"

.Let her know as you and your husband both work, most of your free time is already taken. Also baby sitting isn't really one of your priorities.Time enough for that later when we have our own children

Its an offer for you to babysit, but NOT an obligation.
By her making the comment. Its showing you that she is accepting YOU as part of the family.
Alternatively, lets say she did not say such a thing.
You would be complaining that she does not treat you like family or a part of her childrens lives.
Because there is a flipside to the scenario.
There is no obligation for you to babysit. She obviously trusts you enough with her kids
