How do dash camera video's like this become public?

AND watch this one! my God. Anyways, the recorder is in the trunk? How, WHO, can upload this stuff? Why would a cop act like this knowing he was being recorded?

Dash cam recordings are public records and can be (if necessary) subpoenaed from the respective department. I am sure that different departments have varying rules as to how long the recordings must be kept. If you have a case going, your attorney can demand a copy. It is also possible to demand a copy under the "Freedom of Information" act. At least that way the public has access to the same information as the prosecution does.

People file FOIA requests for legal usage.

It's good to know the cop in question was fired for this.

This is typical pig behavior; 99 times out of 100, they get away w\ it.

This little piggie went to market only because the public got hold of the vid & raised hell, other wise it wouldn't have even had its hoof slapped.
