I want to be in a movie...? Help, please read description?

Hi, ok so before you think I am some kid who has no experience but wants to have a lead role in a movie, hear me out. Well it is true I don't have experience, but I just want to be in a movie as an extra or with a small role at least, not a lead or anything. I am 14 and am near Los Angeles, and also my parents have a friend who works for a movie company so should I ask them if their company needs any extras/help in movies? Also anyone have suggestions for websites with open casting calls, or experience in the movie industry who can give me some tips? And also would there be ads for auditions in the newspaper, and where would I find it? I've looked in the entertainment section, but I didn't see anything... Well anyways I would really appreciate any tips, ideas, websites, or information that would help me. Thanks!!!
