Writers: How much of these are in your story?

• Romantic tension: 7.5-8 (One of these is a huge conflict that triggers the entire plot, while the other is sort of an uncertain & developing love triangle)

• Sensuality: 8-9 (I have a huge habit of describing eyes.. It's bad enough that one of my fantasy races has a unique eye trait, but I also tend to write "He looked", "His eyes/gaze/stare shifted/turned/flickered" a lot... Have a feeling I'll be ripping apart my first draft because of it lol)

• Humour: 6 (I've sprinkled a few jokes here and there, but it's a little hard because the story is /so/ freakin' intense. If looked at closely, the plot is incredibly dark.)

• Spirituality: 3.5 (One of my characters is Agnostic (he has a habit of questioning almost everything, but it's a psychological trait developed when his life virtually gets taken from him). My other character is more of an Atheist but, due to the things he's done, hopes there to be a God/Afterlife. I guess you could say he's more Spiritual than Religious, since he's more into philosophy rather than practice. However, this second character ends up dying to meet his mother (whose death he both witness and caused) and this healing helps add onto his declining character arc)

• Offensive language: 3.5 (One of my characters is a little bit of a potty mouth (but he's a teenage guy, so what can you expect? lol), as well as another minor character, who uses a ton of slang)

• Action/adventure: 5.5-6 (I have a few pretty nice action scenes, and towards the book's first climax my two characters finally set off on finding something they've looked for the whole book)

• Violence: 7.5 (I have maybe a little more than a handful of pretty gruesome scenes... Like a knife being embedded into the back of someone's mouth and then ripping upwards, splitting the head.)

• Suspense: 9 (For maybe about 90% of the book, my main character is being lied to. He thinks his entire family has forgotten him, so he goes along with my second main character as he's told that the memory of him can be restored. It can't, resulting in him being manipulated and essentially used as a guinea pig for almost the entire book.)

• Enigma: 2 (I do my best to back reasoning for 99% of everything in the book since it's fantasy, but the title I think will confuse the hell outta people until almost the very end.)

Ok, so I just came up with the idea. Seriously, like 5 minutes ago. But I have an idea of what will be in it and what won't.

-Romantic tension: 0. There will be no romance, full stop.

-Sensuality: 0.

Humour: 5. I imagine there will be quite a bit, but not so much that the story could be classed as comedic.

Spirituality- 0. No spirits, none whatsoever.

Offensive language: 1. Depends on what you mean. I'll include things, and some people will be offended, but no swear words because I'll be writing it at school and home (the school will tell me to get off the computer, and my mum will make a fuss. I can't win!)

Action/adventure: 10. That's kind of the genre of the story...

Violence: 7. It plays a part, but not an entirely large one.

Suspense: Can't tell, not at this early stage...

Enigma: Maybe.

• Humour: 5. Or so I like to think.

• Offensive language: 1. I guess it all depends on what exactly is considered offensive. My character mildly swears maybe once or twice.

• Action/adventure: 10. It's basically what the entire plot is.

• Violence: 8. I'd say it's pretty violent.

• Suspense: 8. Or so I hope. I at least try to make is suspenseful, it's a little hard to tell since I'm bias.

• Enigma: 4. Not extremely prominent, but is still there.

-Now this is what I pride myself in making my stories about. The range of content is pretty scattered because I like to include all, but I like to think of myself as a suspense writer first. I make complex characters and put them through hell--basic recipe for suspense, delicious with a little tartar sauce on the side.

-Unearthing the mystery pretty much is the whole plot, with action and setting and characters set up to compliment it. I love it!

Romantic tension: Four. Hmm, that's undecided. But around that mark or maybe more.

• Sensuality: 2.

• Humour: Six, I hope when I finish writing it. I prefer little inserts of funny comments instead of a funny scene.

• Spirituality: 3.

• Offensive language: I was thinking of making my own language up, or particular words. Swear words. There are playful offensive words (idiot) and less playful, but even if I don't make up my own words, 6/7 depending on the character.

• Action/adventure: 8/9. I love action and past paced books.

• Violence: 6. There aren't *that* many violent scenes, but the ones that are, well. They're violent.

• Suspense: Yeah, I need to work on this. At the moment, like 3. Not even.

• Enigma: 5. But it's with things I don't mean to be, lol. I need to work on that.
