Sometimes 4 walks isn't enough for a dog. It sounds to me like boredom. Try going to dog parks more often or even doggy day care so he can socialization in and more mental stimulation. More exercise.
Especially since he is a pup still, he needs more exercise and more things to do.
Separation anxiety is more like the dog pees all over himself when you leave, mutilates himself (licks his skin raw) destroys doors you've exited out of in attempt to get to you.

Probably so. My dog has it and I took him to the vet & they gave him Prozac to keep him calm & relaxed. If you don't want to try that you can go to Pet Smart & they have anxiety meds for dogs & it is all natural.
