I have to write a research paper about something going on today that could bring bring about the end of our society/the world if it gets out of hand. Let me hear your ideas. Please leave out global warming though as I am sure atleast half of my class is going to write about that and I want to do something different.

You could talk about poverty, inequality, war, genocides, or if you wanted a fun approach: a zombie apocalypse.
