Help! My cat sleeps all day and doesn't sleep at night?

I've just got a cat 3 days ago, it's got it own little room and it's pwn bed because it wouldn't sleep in the bed we made for him. It's cute but it sleeps no-stop these days and we can't wake him up because my parents need to go to work and i need to go to school. Every night it meows no-stop and even scratch the door. We are all really tired so we can't play with him. My parents can hear him and i can too. He's only 3 years old so it's not too old for a cat. We can't let him any where else i. The house because it

says it needs to stay in a small place when it's first arrived. If we put it down stairs we r scared it might go to the kitchen and knock everything down. What to we do? It's a sweet cat but this really annoys us. Plzz help. Best answer gets 10points

here are the two best things to do to try and get your cat to sleep at night. First. Play with your cat for a few minutes. Get him to chase around a ball on a string or whatever his favorite toy is. Wear him down. Then secondly, feed him right before you go to bed. When a cat eats, his body knows its about time to shut down and take a nap. So if you do these 2 things consistently for a week or two he should get used to going to bed when you go to bed.

I have 5 cats. And have rescued close to 30.

She's a cat! She's nocturnal. What did you expect? She would come home and act like a human ,awake all day then sleeping soundly threw the night? No! That's just not going to happen.
