Why does she do this. Do cats do this often? She acts like it's the most interesting thing she's ever seen.

My cat loves to sit on the edge of the tub when I take a bath and dip her paws in the water. Even jumped in once, that was a hoot! She also uses her paws to grab and drink from a dripping faucet. Some kitties don't fear the water. She feels safe and loves being around you. Cats are curious creatures and just have to know about everything and anything. :)

Some cats just like the sound and sight of the water. Your cat likes to be near you and is not afraid but feels very secure.

Your cat likes water! And she likes you too, so this is like the best TV show she can get! Not all cats like water, so enjoy it! It can be funny! They have a fascination about the water. I have a couple of those
myself!
