Do you think there an abnormal about of trolls on the Canada travel page or just a bunch of no nothings?

It would be hard not to notice them. They all seem to come from the same country. I think they all aspire to write for South Park.

You can chose your answer with equal care as to the mental abilities of the question.

They may be small children that have not yet learned various things in Elementary school yet or like JamieB and Eric may be housed in institutions and do not get out much.

Stay out of the Cultures and Groups section then. Canada Travel is a breath of fresh air compared to that place.

I have a feeling they are the same two-five people, with multiple accounts, as the tone of stupidity never seems to fluctuate much.

We have a couple of regular trolls here. From Eric to the guy with multiple accounts who always asks about the Monarchy. They do troll elsewhere too though. Eric is around the US rooms and the monarchy idiot also trolls in Australia.

There are a lot of no nothings, yes.

And by no nothings I mean people that think they are experts and seem absolutely sure about their answers when in fact they are usually DEAD wrong.

oldlady (who I haven't seen lately)

Randy B (to a lesser extent)

Especially on immigration questions these people have NO clue and we should be able to punish them for all the misinformation they spread. Sadly, Yahoo doesn't punish chronic bad answerers...

There's trolls everywhere on the internet. There's only two that are consistently asking questions. Other than that, all the other ones post on a random basis.

you must look at some better forums than I do, you ought to try the Cuba one it has lots of trolls and one crappy travel agency that posts and answers their own questions just to get advertising. LOL

Trolls like to see the reaction of people and start flame wars, if you ignore them and just call the question as a troll question they hate that.

There's somebody with multiple accounts who plagues both this and the Australian travel forum with questions concerning the Canadian and Australian monarchies.

Then there's the genuinely clueless types who think we all live in log cabins and whatnot.

Then there's those who troll in that same vein by deliberately asking dumb questions.

Frankly, you need a scorecard to tell 'em apart some days.

Yes there are more trolls here and they are more persistent--Eric And Jamie B to name 2. The best way to treat them is not to answer. They are looking to get a rise out of us. If they don't get an answer they might give up but unfortunately there are always those that answer

Some of the know-nothing questions are so weird it's hard not to think it's trolling, in that _nobody_ could be that clueless.

They're all over, in most sections.

They are desperate attention seekers and likely have one or more psychiatric disorders..possibly schizophrenia or bipolar etc. I'm sure some must hear voices in their heads or coming from their computers.....=)

There is one regular here who uses multiple accounts and personalities, but his style gives him away.
