What career should I go into if I want to help people?

I'm very friendly and I want to do something where I can help people, so I was thinking something like nursing or a therapist of some sort. Can anyone think of any other ideas for a career that I might be interested in?

I am an ICU nurse. I got my BSN and went into nursing as a second career when I was 42. I love it!!!!

You can open a consultancy firm. Or you can open an voluntary NGO for helping poor people. Where you can help people and build your career. Thank you so much.
