long story short, i have been contemplating to break up with him, so that's why i haven't called him for about 1 week. and we talked he was afraid to hurt me, i was afraid to hurt him, so we are done, now, why do i miss him more than ever? i dint see us going on forever. but why he is always on my mind.

So you are saying neither one hurt the other. i didn't see us going on forever. I don't know but sounds like you jumped the gun. This holds the truth as to why he is still on your mind.

Because now you can see that he isn't really feeling you anymore & It's human nature to want what you can't have

Just ignore him completely till you get married that will be good for both of you.
