If your a teen i'd say the hunger games, if you havn't read the Harry potters you MUST read them, if your looking for something a bit more serious but nonetheless amazing for all ages (I read it at 13 loved it, my mum read it, she's 40 she loved it) read a thousand splendid sun. Heard the boy in the striped pyjamas is good also about a boy's life during the second ww, goonna read it soon and finally... If you havn't read Anne frank's diary, i'm reading it right now, it's... I've never heard of Model Land, but there's a book you can try reading: "Cinder" by Marissa Meyer. You can also try "Jinx" and/or "Goose Girl" by Shannon Hale.

I like the percy Jackson series

You will love this book no matter what, Hunger Games.
