How much longer before Bakers Cyst heals or goes away? ?

I"ve been laid up for 2 weeks (pain is horrible) bc of Bakers Cyst behind left knee. Dr gave me steroid shot 5 days ago and I have had NO RELIEF from PAIN. Tried ice, heat, knee brace (Ave type Bandage),staying off my leg as much as possible, walk w/cane & heavy duty pain pills (Prescribed by my Dr). All to no avail. It's been 2 weeks now since it started hurting. I was already doing all the above except for Steroid Shot 5 days ago. HOW MUCH LONGER IS THIS GOING TO HURT LIKE THIS? It has me stopped in my tracks. HELP PLEASE!!

woah!!! My mum has this too D:

Last night she had to go to the hospital because she was in tears. I don't know exactly what the doctor said but she has it behind her left knee aswell and she also said that she had a build up of fluid around her knee and that the fluid pops from it's sack and it stops hurting for a while. She's on medication which is voltaren osteo and something else prescribed in capsules. She has to get knee replacement surgery when she turns 60 (10 years) and from now on until then she's on medication. I'm sorry I couldn't be of help, but I know what you're going through. My mum works most days each week and has trouble getting up from chairs and has to walk slow because it hurts.

Get The Canker Spanker! it is the only difficulty that has worked for my chilly sores. that's a pill, so it would not worsen the sore, in simple terms heals it quickly and forestalls new breakouts. seem'em up on line or call your pharmacy to work out in the event that they convey about it.
