what cpu can i upgrade to?

i have a hp slimline model s5123 it has a single core Cpu and i want a quad or higher but i just found out cpu's are not one size fits all I don't know the socket type so im kinda clueless on what to do.

    start here this link has your mobo specs on it (AM2 socket) however, be advised that a larger, more powerful processor will require more power to run it....

    Find out what CPU you have.

    But honestly you're better off with getting a new system. Slimlines are a PITA.
