Would I be racist if I do not want to have children with someone outside my race?

I personally would want to have children with the same culture as me. I would just to have kids with someone in my race. I say this because mixed race kids often has problems in society, in school and has identity issues. So I would not want to take that risk with marrying outside my race and having children with a white woman or any other race. How do you feel on this? Am I being racist for feeling this way?

I think you're being silly. Times have changed. Obama plays the race card, but I heard that he's really mixed. So if a mixed man can become President, then you shouldn't have to worry about having mixed kids. I think biracial children are beautiful and they can get excellent scholarships when they get to college age. I don't think it's really considered such a bad thing anymore except maybe still in some small parts of the south. Love shouldn't have to be restricted by race. If you love a white woman, don't worry about the mixed kids. Love her! And worse come to worse, there's always homeschool.

Not at all, it's normal for anyone to be attracted to someone of the same race. And i'd agree with you that mixed race children can be confused.

    No your not being racist.

Your being selective, as an adult you have the right to make your own choices, because you also face the consequences of those choices.

You do have a valid point, but there's no really nice way to prevent this other than from your own choices.

I don't want to date any race, am I racist for that? No. It's just preference, but you really should stop making everything a goddamn race issue because it's so stupid.

Do what you want. As long as you marry someone you will be happy with and want to spend the rest of YOUR life with.

Remember people dont really care because they are not marrying you. I dont have to live with you everyday so make sure YOU are happy and not trying to please everyone because its pointless. Everyone else goes on with their lives regardless of you are in a mixed relationship or not.

BUT, do you honestly believe mixed people are discriminated against by everyone? Thats a joke. Most people simply do not CARE =)

    No.

It's your choice if you want your offspring look and act more like yourself.

After all, nearly everybody wants their child to resemble her/him.

No, that is not racist: it is responding to the primaeval urge we all have to reproduce our own species, resembling others in our tribe.
