ok lets say. this girl went out with her date for about two weeks. one day they were at the mall, met one of the girl's friend. she introduced her date directly his name. no title was given, the date was really offended. because she didn't say that was her boyfriend. she said in her defence, they went out for two weeks, and didn't even have sex yet. she wasn't asked " if you d like to be my girlfriend" how does it work?

This is how it was with my boyfriend and I when we first dated. The only way to come to an agreement, is to just come and say something like "so, people have been asking me if we are seeing eachother, what should I say? Is it ok to say we are an item?" Or just something along those lines. My boyfriend never asked me to "be his girlfriend' because we figured we were pass that having to ask stage.
