My Rinnai 2001 Gas heater keeps turning off after only a few minutes?

After it turns off, I'm able to turn it back on again pretty much right away (well as soon as I notice that it's gone out), but it's really annoying to have to keep an eye on it.. is there anything that could be the cause?

At the moment, the whole front of the heater has been taken off, so there isn't an issue with air flow through the vents. The glass over the heater part is broken though, so not sure if that affects anything..
