What gaming computer is right for me?

I want a new laptop computer, preferably under $800. I usually just browse around on the internet, watch videos, listen to music(A LOT), edit music, simple stuff like that. But I also play 2 low-graphic games. They are called CrossFire (http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloadS2.aspx) and Combat Arms

(http://combatarms.nexon.net/Support/GameClient.asp... I want to get decent or high fps on both games. So, considering everything I do on the computer, what do you think will be the best laptop for me? Under $800 please...but will go higher if needed...

Update:

Oh yes, I was thinking maybe about 4-8 gb of RAM and maybe a quad core processor...Intel i7?

    Well I wouldn't exactly buy a laptop for gaming.. And since you have a pretty low price range I would suggest building a custom build gaming desktop. Watch some youtube videos on how to build it, it is relatively easy and its just step by step. If you really think this is a hassle, I would suggest http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8... it looks pretty nice for its price and techwise :P I don't think you can get a i7 processor with a decent graphic card at the price ur looking for sorry :/ but it would be perfectly fine to play combat arms and crossfire on that computer.

    At $800, I would not go above a Core i5 or you're unlikely to get a decent graphics card. In fact, I would be looking at a Core i3.

    Realize that a low-end gaming desktop with a monitor would probably cost about $500 with a Core i5. An equivelant laptop would cost at least twice as much ($1,000).

    I would look for a high end Core i3 laptop or a low end Core i5. Make sure you do not get an onboard graphics card, or a graphics card that lists "shared memory" as neither will play games well.

    wouldn't buy a laptop for gaming that's just strange. but i did have an i3 laptop and i played continuum fine on it. http://www.getcontinuum.net/ its a 2d space ship game with capture the flag its fun. the new amd processors showed better benchmarks for gaming but thats newer games not the old 2d stuff go with the i3

    The Sims is unquestionably exciting. It takes up somewhat an incredible form of your pc reminiscence yet its extremely good. additionally video games like Sonic and massive Mario are good. however the Sims is my widely used :D

    same specs as mine, the only difference is that i have 8gb ram, but i think it'll only have a very little effect on performance.

    so i think it'll be more than enough for you, and it fits your budget ;)
