How long exactly is five years considered for nursing school applications?

I am applying to a nursing program this fall (Oct 15 deadline). They require a Sociology prerequisite that I took in the Fall 2007 semester, to be within 5 years of admission. Does that meet the cut off? Or do I need to take one this summer? I will be emailing admissions, just wanted to see if any nursing students or others reading this might know the answer.

It's usually 5 years within the time that you start the nursing program. So you completed it 5 years ago this fall. . . if you are only just APPLYING and not actually starting classes this fall semester and would start in the spring or next year in the fall, then it will be past the 5 year point and you will either need to retake the course or fill out an academic petition to see if they will accept it (unlikely, but worth a try).
