my female cat has a discharge... what is the cause and how can it be treated?

    If she's not spayed, it's probably pyometra - and that can become quite serious. It's a nasty infection of the uterus. Cure is an emergency spay followed by antibiotics. Call the vet first thing tomorrow - it's never normal for a discharge in a female cat.
