What are these tiny tan things I keep taking off of my Calico cat?

Since early spring, these things started showing up mostly on my Calico cats neck and head, and also on my long haired domestic. They are both 3 years old. I took them to the vet a few weeks ago and he said to give them a bath every two weeks, which I did. But now, I am getting worried since the Calico is biting and pulling her hair out on different parts of her body.

What the heck are these things? They are tan colored, about the size of small crumbs, and I can scratch them off with my finger nail. I looked at some of them with a magnifier glass and they don't look like they are a living thing. Is it flea related?

That would be flea feaces, or poop, my dear friend. If these are still constant, get your cat cleaned thoroughly and treated for fleas~! be sure to flea-proof your house, or your cats will just get them again

Are they shaped like a grain of rice? Do you find them on the places that your cats lie around in your home? If so they are tape worm segments which are in fact often related to fleas since they transmit fleas during part of their life cycles. Do you have little tiny red marks like small mosquito bites on your ankles? If so you have fleas in the home. Do you have little black bugs when you sweep the floor that jump out of the pile of dirt? These are fleas. Do your cats puke a lot? Probably tape worms or other intestinal parasites. Google fleas and tapeworms together in the search bar to find out more.

Its really hard to tell without a picture. Best bet is get your cat to the vet asap just to make sure they arent anything that can harm the cat.
